Glendale High School librarian, Sharon Fischer, puts her marketing skills to work promoting Opposing Viewpoints.
Opposing Viewpoints is always recommended to our students when they research current topics for persuasive speeches or argumentative compositions. It is user-friendly and delivers results for inexperienced searchers. On results pages, the sidebar search terms encourage the narrowing or broadening of searches. Tabs direct students to statistical articles and reliable web sites. Because documents include the necessary information for writing citations, we encourage students to either email, save to flash drive, and/or print articles. Opposing Viewpoints is an extremely useful database.
